The Sukin Renewing Body Scrub is described as a smoothing, soothing scrub containing micro jojoba beads, green tea leaves and ground walnut shells to delicately polish the surface of the skin. ]]>The aim of the pavilion was to communicate the importance of certification for manufacturers when differentiating themselves from the greenwash beauty brands on the market, raise awareness of the NATRUE certification standards and flag up the fact that 70% of all certified natural cosmetics sold in Europe carry the NATRUE logo.
“Being part of Natural & Organic Products Europe with a pavilion was a great success for NATRUE – the interest was very high, demonstrating that the sector is more and more aware of the importance of a trustworthy certification mark, like NATRUE, which supports consumers in identifying truly natural and organic cosmetics. We will definitely be back next year bringing more NATRUE Label users with us,” Francesca Morgante, NATRUE label manager, told NPN.
The Pavilion hosted: Weleda, which used the show to launch its new Jardin de Vie fragrance range and Almond Sensitive Skin offer; Lavera which showcased its Re-Energizing Sleeping Cream; Gala, launching its Bio Happy shower gel range; Le Fate della Terra, introducing its Hydrating Serum for Body and Face for babies; BRANDPUR; Aromeda; and Vivienne Swiss Formula, which introduced its range of natural dietary supplements and skincare.

]]>Angela Langford, SKN-RG and Essentially Nature have all shown their support for the initiative which was launched at Natural & Organic Products Europe 2015 in April in a bid to unite natural and ethically driven brands in a shared vision of honesty and integrity.
Sonia White, founder of the RBM, commented on the move. “All three brands have fully embraced the aims of the manifesto and in so doing are providing stockists and consumers with an immediate point of reference that their products are made with decency and care, and can be bought with confidence.”
The Manifesto is founded upon six key principles: purity; compassion; honesty; community; transparency; and sustainability.
“By upholding these values, all members believe the Manifesto can build a better natural beauty industry for everybody,” says White.
Edyta Weeks, founder of Essentially Nature commented: “Essentially Nature’s ethos and the values that we stand for are beautifully reflected and emphasised in the Real Beauty Manifesto. We feel united and connected now in voicing our beliefs. We are proudly presenting the RBM logo on our products as they express what’s most important in the modern, ethical beauty industry.”
“The Manifesto epitomises everything we hold true as a brand. By adopting the logo as part of our redesign, we hope to give our customers – both new and returning – added reassurance of our commitment to delivering natural skincare recipes they can trust,” said Angela Langford.
SKN-RG’s co-founder Robert Scott, added: “SKN-RG’s shared core values with the Real Beauty Manifesto made registering an incredibly simple decision. Having met Sonia and experienced her focus and commitment first hand we are delighted to be adding the Real Beauty Manifesto logo to all of our packaging to support the Manifesto and demonstrate our commitment to living those values.”

]]>The nourishing ECOCERT-certified formulation contains the brand’s Chlorophyllin Hordeum Complex (CHC) serum rich in chlorophyll. Alorée is currently the only skincare brand that has been able to extract the active ingredient chlorophyll from plants and capture its powerful anti-ageing properties.
As well as chlorophyll, the CHC serum contains polyphenols, vitamin E, grape seed oil, camelina oil and muscat rosebush oil. The Alorée Hand Cream also contains a high concentration of shea butter to leave hands soft and protected.
“The Alorée City Comfort Hand Cream is a natural addition to our existing range of highly effective, natural and organic face care products, particularly suitable for city residents,” said Alorée founder and MD Alexandra Croce. “After all, just like our face is exposed to many external aggressors, so are our hands. They have to deal with damaging factors such as cold, wind, sun, water, heating, air conditioning, pollution, which can lead to dry, dehydrated and ageing skin. Our natural and organic hand cream will not only lock in moisture, nourish and hydrate the skin, it will also help to fight free radical damage with our unique chlorophyll-rich CHC formula and keep the hands looking young.”
Alorée is distributed in the UK by Pravera.
